Getting there

Bergen has seventy municipalities and no subway. NJ Transit’s Pascack Valley and Main-Bergen lines run south toward Hoboken and buses run heavily to the Port Authority, but most local trips are by car. Paramus sits at the crossing of Routes 4 and 17, which puts New Bridge within about half an hour of most of the county. Ask any program about transportation, and remember that an IOP ten minutes away beats a better one forty minutes away, because you will make the trip thirty times.
